01

About these terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Dungle Tutors (“Dungle”, “we”, “us”). They apply whenever you visit our website, create an account, enrol in a course, teach on the platform or book an advert.

By creating an account or using Dungle, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

Dungle is an independent coaching platform. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting on behalf of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) or the ATSWA scheme. ICAN and ATSWA are the names and marks of their respective owners.

02

Your account

  • You must give us accurate, current information when you register, and keep it up to date.
  • Each account is for one person only. You must not share your login or let anyone else use your account.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us straight away at Support@dungletutors.com if you think someone else has accessed it.
  • If you are under 18, you may only use Dungle with the permission of a parent or guardian, who accepts these Terms on your behalf.
03

Enrolling as a student

When you enrol in a course, part or programme, you get a personal, non-transferable right to attend its live classes and use its materials for your own study, for as long as the course remains available on Dungle.

  • Live classes are scheduled by your instructor. Times are shown in your portal, and we will tell you if a class is moved or cancelled.
  • Recordings, notes and past questions are for your personal use only. You must not copy, record, share, sell or upload them anywhere else.
  • Assignments and mock exams are marked by your instructor to help you prepare. Their feedback is guidance, not an official exam result.
04

Fees and payment

  • Course prices are shown in Nigerian Naira (₦) on the enrolment page. Where a bundle for a whole part or programme is cheaper than its courses, we apply the lower price automatically.
  • Payments are processed securely by our payment partner, Flutterwave. Its processing fee is added at checkout and shown to you before you pay.
  • Your access starts once your payment is confirmed. If a payment fails or is reversed, access to the courses it covered may be removed.
  • We may change our prices at any time, but a change never affects a course you have already paid for.
05

Refunds

Course payments are final. We do not offer refunds once a payment has been made, including if you change your mind, do not attend your classes or stop using the platform. The payment processing fee is also non-refundable.

Please check the programme, part and courses in your basket carefully before you pay. If you have any questions about a course, email Support@dungletutors.com before paying and we will be happy to help.

If we cancel a course you have paid for, we will move you to an equivalent course at no extra cost.

Adverts

You pay for an advert when you send it, and our team reviews it before it is published. If we decline your advert, we refund the package price to the card or account you paid with. The payment processing fee is not refunded. Once your advert has been approved, its payment is final.

06

Teaching as an instructor

Applying

Every application is reviewed by our team, and approval is at our discretion. You cannot sign in to the instructor portal until your application has been approved. The information and CV you give us must be true and accurate — we may remove an instructor whose qualifications turn out to be misrepresented.

Once approved

  • Deliver your classes as scheduled, and give students reasonable notice if you need to move one.
  • Teach from your own knowledge and materials you have the right to use. Never share leaked or confidential exam papers.
  • Treat students with respect, and keep their personal information private.
  • Your revenue share and payout arrangements are agreed with you when you are approved. Payouts are made to the bank account you give us.
  • You teach on Dungle as an independent professional, not as our employee, and you are responsible for your own taxes.
07

Content and ownership

  • The Dungle name, logo, website and platform belong to us. You may not copy or reuse them without our written permission.
  • Instructors keep ownership of the materials they create, and give Dungle permission to host, display and deliver them to enrolled students for as long as the course is offered.
  • Work that students submit stays theirs. You allow your instructor and our team to view and mark it.
08

Acceptable use

When using Dungle, you must not:

  • Share, sell or request leaked exam papers, or take part in any form of exam malpractice.
  • Harass, threaten or discriminate against any student, instructor or member of our team.
  • Share your account, or record and redistribute classes or materials.
  • Try to break into, disrupt or overload the platform, or access accounts or data that are not yours.
  • Use Dungle to send spam, advertise other services or collect other users' information.
09

Exam results

Our instructors will do their best to prepare you, but exam results depend on many things outside our control — including your own study and the examining body's marking. We therefore cannot guarantee that you will pass any exam or achieve a particular grade.

10

Suspension and closing accounts

You can close your account at any time by contacting Support@dungletutors.com.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms — for example, for account sharing, malpractice or abusive behaviour. Where it is fair to do so, we will warn you first and give you a chance to respond. As set out under Refunds, payments are not refunded when an account is closed.

11

Our liability

We work hard to keep Dungle available and accurate, but the platform is provided “as is”, and there may be occasional interruptions for maintenance or reasons outside our control.

As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under Nigerian consumer protection law that cannot be excluded.

12

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. If a dispute arises, please contact us first — most issues can be resolved quickly. If we cannot resolve it together, it will be handled by the courts of Lagos State.

13

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as the platform grows. When we do, we will change the “last updated” date at the top of this page, and if the change is significant we will let you know by email or in your portal. Continuing to use Dungle after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
